We create and deliver thoughtful parcels to individuals facing hardship—especially those affected by domestic abuse, homelessness, or financial insecurity. Every package is powered entirely by donations and volunteer effort.

We don’t have funding or storage space—but we do have heart, hope, and a growing network of supporters who believe in dignity, transparency, and community care.

 

Q: Why is it named after Leslie?

A: Leslie is Vi's late husband—a man who embodied quiet strength, compassion, and resilience. Leslie’s Care Packages was created to honour his legacy through acts of kindness. Every parcel, every message, every milestone is a tribute to him—and to the belief that small gestures can make a big difference. His spirit lives on in every act of care we offer, reminding us that dignity, hope, and love can be shared even in the hardest moments.

 

Q: Where do you operate?

A: We’re based in Stourbridge, with outreach spanning the Black Country, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and surrounding areas.

We work closely with trusted professionals across these regions to reach individuals in need.

A: We began in August, 24th 2016, starting with just a few parcels and a big heart. Since then, we’ve grown through word of mouth,

community support, and the generosity of donors and volunteers.

A: Each parcel is thoughtfully curated based on donations and the needs of the recipient. Items may include:

• Toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant)

• Non-perishable snacks or treats

• Comfort items (journals, tea bags, handwritten notes)

• Seasonal extras or donated gifts

A: Yes. Whenever possible, we tailor parcels to the recipient’s circumstances—whether it’s a survivor of domestic abuse, someone in temporary accommodation,

or a person facing sudden hardship.

A: We distribute parcels as and when we receive referrals and donations.

There’s no fixed schedule—our work is entirely responsive to need and availability.

We do not take direct requests from the public.

We cannot accept used items, perishables, or anything requiring storage space we don’t have.
